What is Net Zero?
A “Net Zero Energy Attainable” house is designed to produce as much electricity as it uses. Each house comes with a solar PV system (photo-voltaic panels) designed to cover the energy needs of the home. The homes are all electric, super insulated, air tight and are equipped with an Energy Recovery Ventilation system supplying fresh air. Lighting is LED or CFL. With a reasonable lifestyle, your family can live comfortably with little if any energy cost. These homes are Energy Star certified by an independent third party rater.

Unique Features at “The Preserve at Oregon”
Floors are the key element when it comes to architectural freedom and design: their load bearing capacity has a direct influence on the need for partition walls and other structural elements of a building. Hollowcore slabs are pre-stressed floor elements with voids. The excellent load-bearing capacity and structural efficiency allows you to build large areas with fewer partition walls. Ultimately, this means greater freedom in design and architecture during and after construction as well as savings in material costs.
In our designs for the Preserve at Oregon precast concrete planks are being used in the garage. This allows us to have a clear space underneath the main garage for another garage.

Prior to the siding being applied Enviro Dri is applied to structure which has several benefits and advantages:
- Protects sheathing from liquid moisture
- Permeable membrane allows for moisture vapor to pass to the outside to ensure drying the sheathing for a better building envelope.
- Reduces air infiltration through the exterior walls, providing a more comfortable and energy-efficient home.
Enviro Dri is a permanently adhered membrane applied directly to the sheathing system to prevent blow-offs in high winds
