Reflecting its commitment to creating and updating amazing living spaces, Ashland, Mass.-based GMT Home Designs has been recognized with a prestigious 2019 Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence.
GMT is one of just 77 companies nationwide to earn this award. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
“To win an award in this highly competitive category is quite an achievement,” says Ken Kanline, Director of the Awards.
GMT's winning project is a beautiful addition to a modern ranch home for a family of five. The addition includes a new mudroom and great room along with an updated kitchen. This work not only added much-needed living space but also improving the flow and function of the home, while retaining its original style and charm.
